The family’s name Combard rhymes with the French word for Lobster, “Homard”, and it's not a coincidence! This epicurean family likes to meet at the dinner table around this famous shellfish. A tradition initiated by Alain, the Dad, who never missed an opportunity to bring back some lobsters from his numerous trips in Brittany.
The Combards, and especially Magali, the Yogi of the family, attach great importance to spirituality, an attitude that translates into an ambient serenity and a strong connection to nature. A family state of mind turned towards inner calm, open-mindedness and benevolence, so many energies that are omnipresent in their haven of peace in the vineyard.

A very spoiled species on the estate, these little night guardians have the exclusive enjoyment of specially installed nesting boxes to encourage them to hunt pests in the evening, and thus avoid the use of pesticides in the vineyards.
Hedonists, all fervent cooks, gourmets and lovers of good wines, the Combards share their passion for gastronomy through the Domaine's restaurant. L'Assiette is a showcase of flavors that delights the finest epicureans in a friendly, convivial atmosphere.
Delphine, one of the Combard daughters, has a passion for nature and biodiversity. She started beekeeping and now devotes herself to her hives, producing her honey and offering the opportunity to some privileged people to taste it!

Alain, the Papa Combard, was an enthusiast of touring airplanes; With his IFR pilot’s license in pocket at 20 years old, he could fly freely without worrying about the weather conditions. He used to take the whole family on trips all over France and Europe. This is surely where the Combard children's passion for travel comes from!
